Data protection information for the use of Facebook plugins (like button)
On our pages are plugins of the social network Facebook, provider Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA, integrated. You can recognize the Facebook plugins by the Facebook logo or the “Like” button on our page. You can find an overview of the Facebook plugins here
When you visit our pages, the plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the Facebook “Like” button while logged into your Facebook account, you can link the content of our pages to your Facebook profile. This allows Facebook to associate visiting our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we do not have any knowledge of the content of the data transmitted or its use by Facebook. Further information on this can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy.
If you do not want Facebook to be able to assign visits to our pages to your Facebook user account, please log out of your Facebook user account.
YouTube
Our website may use plugins from the YouTube site operated by Google. The site is operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plug-in, a connection is established to YouTube’s servers. The Youtube server will be informed which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged in to your YouTube account, you can allow YouTube to assign your surfing behavior directly to your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
For more information about the handling of user data, please refer to YouTube’s privacy policy.
Facebook
The primary responsibility pursuant to the DSGVO for the processing of Insights data lies with Facebook and Facebook fulfils all obligations under the DSGVO with regard to the processing of Insights data.

We will then forward this request to Facebook in accordance with the current policy
Google Analytics
This website uses the “Google Analytics” service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheater Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) to analyze users’ website usage. The service uses “cookies” – text files stored on your device. The information collected by the cookies is usually sent to a Google server in the US and stored there.
IP anonymization is activated for this website. The IP address of users is shortened within the member states of the EU and the European Economic Area. This reduction eliminates the personal reference of your IP address. Under the terms of the agreement on contract data processing (“Auftragsdatenverarbeitung”), which we have signed with Google Inc., Google uses the collected information to evaluate website usage and to provide Internet-related services.
You have the option to prevent the storage of cookies on your device by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser.
Furthermore, you can use a browser plug-in to prevent the information collected by cookies (including your IP address) from being sent to Google Inc. and used by Google Inc. The following link leads you to the corresponding plugin.
Here’s more information on Google Inc’s data usage.
Google Maps
We integrate the map of the service “Google Maps” of the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Thus interactive maps can be integrated directly on this web page.
The use of “Google Maps” is based on Art. 6 para. 1 (F) DSGVO. There is a justified interest in making it easier to find the locations indicated on the website.
In order to use the “Google Maps” function, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. As the provider of this website, we have no influence on this data transmission. More detailed information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by the plug-in provider can be found.
You have the right to object to data storage. You can pursue this here.
Google Web Fonts
In order to display our content correctly and graphically appealing across browsers, we use “Google Web Fonts” on this website. The provider is Google Inc. 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
The use of “Google Webfonts” is based on Art. 6 para. 1 (F) DSGVO. There is a justified interest in the presentation of an attractive website.
“Google Web Fonts” are transferred to the cache of your browser to avoid multiple loading. If the browser does not support “Google Web Fonts” or prevents access, content is displayed in a standard font.
By using Google Web Fonts, a Google server in the U.S. is called unless your browser can access a local copy in the cache.
It is theoretically possible – but currently unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes – for the operators of such libraries to collect data.
Further information on “Google Web Fonts” can be found here and in Google’s privacy policy
The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here.
reCAPTCHA from Google LLC
In order to avoid automated access to this website, e.g. by so-called “bots”, we use Google reCAPTCHA. reCAPTCHA is an Internet service of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (hereinafter referred to as “Google”).
Google guarantees that the EU data protection regulations will also be complied with when processing data in the USA; this is proven by Google’s certification according to the EU-US data protection sign .
Through the reCAPTCHA service Google can determine in particular the following: (i) from which website a request was sent, and (ii) from which IP address the so-called “reCAPTCHA input box” was used. In addition to the IP address, Google may also collect other information that is necessary for the service to function.
The legal basis for the use of this service is Art. 6 Para. 1 Letter f of the European Basic Data Protection Regulation (DSGVO). There is a legitimate interest on our part and on the part of the user in the security of this website, in particular in the defense against unwanted automated access, including in the form of spam.
Further information on the handling of user data by Google can be found here.
Rights of the user: Information, correction and deletion of personal data.
As a user, you have the right to receive free information upon request on the personal data that has been stored about you. If your request does not conflict with a legal obligation to retain data (e.g. “Vorratsdatenspeicherung”), you are entitled to correct incorrect data and/or to block or delete your personal data.
